Zimbabweans invited to nominate suitably qualified persons to fill positions in the Supreme and High Courts

The Judicial Service Commission announces that four (4) judge vacancies have arisen in the Supreme Court and eight (8) in the High Court.

In terms of section 180(2) of the Constitution of Zimbabwe, members of the public are hereby invited to nominate suitably qualified persons to fill the above positions in the Supreme and High Courts.

QUALIFICATIONS OF JUDGES OF SUPREME COURT

Section 178 of the Constitution of Zimbabwe provides that:

(1) A person is qualified for appointment as a judge of the Supreme
