WHEREUPON, after reading documents filed of record and hearing the parties in a trial as well as the submissions made by the parties’ legal practitioners at the end of trial;


IT IS ORDERED:


  1. That the parties be and are hereby granted an order for divorce.

  2. That defendant be and is hereby awarded a once off payment of Z$15 000 000 (payable within 30 days from the date of this order) to assist her over until she settles down.

  3. That defendant be and is hereby awarded the custody of Prosper (born on the 1st of February 1992) and Ray (born on 6 March 1998).

  4. That plaintiff be and is hereby ordered to pay supportive maintenance in the sum of $200 000,00 for each of the minor children and that this order shall remain in force until each of the minor children attains the age of 18 or becomes self supporting which ever happens earlier.

  5. That plaintiff be and is hereby awarded as his sole and absolute property lot 62 of Beuna Vista, otherwise known as 62 Kabot Drive, Matsheumhlophe.

  6. That defendant be and is hereby awarded as her sole and absolute properties: stand 13882 Nkulumane, Bulawayo and stand 4750 Bulawayo Township, also known as 23 Cumberland Drive, Hillcrest, Bulawayo.

  7. That plaintiff be and is hereby awarded as his sole and absolute property the Mercedes Benz S320 bearing registration number AAJ 7878.

  8. That defendant be and is hereby awarded as her sole and exclusive property a Mazda Cronos bearing registration number 628-949P as well as a Mazda B 1800.

  9. That defendant be and is hereby awarded as her sole and absolute property 3 herd of cattle and that defendant should collect these beasts from plaintiff’s rural home within 30 days from the date of this order.

  10. That plaintiff retains the remaining herd of cattle as his sole and absolute property.

  11. Plaintiff shall retain as his sole and exclusive property all the movables which he is currently using as 62 Kabot Drive with the exception of those items he conceded in his evidence.

  12. Defendant shall retain as her sole and exclusive property all the movables at her new home 23 Cumberland Drive, Hillcrest, Bulawayo.

  13. That each party retains as his/her sole and exclusive property the amount held in his/her bank account.

  14. Each party is to bear his/her own costs.
